What is the Jumpstart Program?
At Pacer Water Polo Academy, we believe in identifying and developing young talent from the very start. The Jumpstart Program offers promising young swimmers the chance to train with the best through a structured swim trial, with a pathway to elite training. Who is it for? Kids born in 2016 & 2017 Children who love swimming and sports No prior water polo experience needed
How It Works?
Sign up for a FREE swim trial (no cost, no obligation!) If your child qualifies, they will be selected for Pacer Development Centre (PDC) – our elite water polo training program. Receive up to $1000 in training credits to kickstart their journey in water polo! Even if your child doesn’t qualify for PDC, they can still receive up to $600 in training credits to build confidence in the water through our Learn-to-Swim program. 📅 Limited slots available – sign up today!

The Jumpstart Pathway is designed to identify and develop young swimmers with water polo potential.
After signing up for a free swim trial, here’s how the process works: 🔽
Step 1 (Free Swim Trial)
Free Swim Trial Your child attends a fun, no-cost swim trial to assess their swimming ability and water confidence.
Step 2 (Evaluation)
Evaluation by Coaches Our expert coaches assess if your child is ready for elite water polo training or if they would benefit from our Learn-to-Swim program.
🟢 If Your Child Qualifies for PDC:
✅ Parents pay for the first 3 months of training ($900 value)
✅ Receive 3 additional months of training for free! ($900 value)
✅ Start their journey toward competitive water polo and potential national team representation
🔵 If Your Child Needs More Training:
✅ Option to join our Learn-to-Swim program to build confidence in the water
✅ Receive up to $300 to $600 in training credits (equivalent to 1 or 2 months free!) to continue developing swimming skills
✅ Can reapply for PDC trials later as they improve

What is Pacer Development Centre (PDC)?
The Pacer Development Centre (PDC) is Singapore’s elite training program for young water polo athletes. It’s designed to develop kids with strong potential in water polo, giving them access to structured training, professional coaching, and competitive opportunities.

Does my child need prior water polo experience?
No! The swim trial is open to all kids who can swim comfortably.
What if my child doesn’t qualify for PDC?
They can still enroll in our Learn-to-Swim program to improve their skills!

Where are the trials held?
Trials take place at Kallang Basin
When my son first joined Water Polo, he was overweight & unfit. After a year, he toughened up tremendously & made many friends. He really loves Water Polo now! Thanks Pacer for transforming him. 😃
